Meet our COO: Jon Drenckhahn
The Man Behind the Scenes
Jon joined the Fair Harbor team in May of 2017 and has played a key and irreplaceable role, allowing for the company to grow in a way that wouldn’t have been possible without him.
Before Fair Harbor
Jon grew up in New Canaan and graduated from New Canaan High School in 2003. After graduation Jon continued his football career at Williams College where he was the captain of his team, All American and the career reception record holder (well done). Through his remarkable athletic ability he Jon was noticed and selected to participate in the New York Jets 2007 Mini Camp.
At Williams Jon studied economics and graduated in 2007 with a degree in Bachelor of Arts. Before Jon became part of the Fair Harbor team he had a variety of other jobs and experiences that has helped him with his work today.
Five Fast Facts About Jon:
Loves a good glass of lambrusco with a slice of pizza
Will often be sporting the one short with birkenstocks and classic FH tee
Best known for his one-line zingers
Doesn’t like to work hard for his food -- AKA boneless chicken wings is a no brainer
Is an avid hot-yogi
Where is Jon Today?
Jon and his wife Dominique Drenckhahn live in The Greater New York Area with their Giant Schnauzer, Sadie (give @sadiesnoots a follow on Instagram, you won’t be disappointed). At Fair Harbor, Jon overseas all of the company’s financials and business performance metrics, as well as being the “older brother” of the group. More wisdom comes with older age, and he is often the ultimate problem solver -- and a great organizer may I add. Furthermore, Jon designs and implements business strategies, oversees relationships with partners and vendors and negotiates contracts. On top of volunteering and working at Fair Harbor Jon is also earning his MBA at F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
Thank You Jon
Jon has helped Fair Harbor go to the next level through his prior experience, and he has given structure and guidance to the company. We’re excited to see where this journey takes us next.
